Some Biblical Thoughts On The Lukewarm
Some Biblical Thoughts On The Lukewarm
Revelation 3:15-16 "I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth."
As love (and caring, without blindspots or numbness) is the fullest accomplishments of His fire, I think you'll enjoy this teaching. Love with all the heart, delighting greatly in all His commandments, with His law fully written on our hearts. It is expounded that we love His law so much that it's what we talk about all day long as being the most awesome liberty humanly imaginable. As we love and read the Creator's literal word preserved for us in the Bible, I believe more and more peace, grace and love will be multiplied to you in all the fullness. Leave all preconcieved and false ideas about Christianity behind.
What are we supposed to be so on fire for?
" THE KINGDOM " Mat 6:33 "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."
What is the Kingdom we are to "seek first" and daily pray it does COME on earth? HIS LAND, HIS LAW, HIS PEOPLE, HIS KINGSHIP OVER HIS HOLY NATION TO BE ENFORCED IN THE EARTH (His true Israel Christian nations as the first century church successfully established, with all the feasts sabbaths and dietary laws in the original orthodox church).
Jude 1:3 "Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints." The faith is that we as Ambassadors and representatives of His Kingdom, will daily pray as He told us to pray, that His Kingdom come and will be enforced in the earth, as it is being done in heaven. The faith in the promise and prophecies, that "Through washing of the water of the word we will one day be made into that church without spot or wrinkle" (Ephesians 5:26-27). That we may be a "witness of the Kingdom to all nations, and then the end does come" (Matthew 24:14). Ephesians 4:13 "Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:"
Acts 14:22 "Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God."
Colossians 2:12 "Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with Him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead."
Did God command blind faith? Faith only comes after obedience to His law/word (Romans 10:17). Disobedience to His word/law can never be considered faith. It may even go as far as having faith in the devil, rather than our eternal King who created the heavens and earth, and His name is Jesus the Alpha and Omega, who was, who is, and is to come.
While it's true we're saved only by the blood of Jesus Christ, we'll remain undeveloped infant babes if we don't start keeping the commandments. As Jesus Christ elaborate in Matthew 5:19 "any who break and teach men to break even the least commandments will be called the least in the kingdom of heaven, but those who teach men to keep and do keep the least of the commandments will be called great in the Kingdom of heaven."
1John 2:4 "He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him." Men like David and Solomon "knew who God was" , as they countless times said they "delight greatly in all of God's law". This was the wisdom of Solomon. As Jesus did also delight in it, and He said the Pharisees reject the law of Moses, through their manmade traditions, and that was their sin. Our Eternal God the Lord Jesus personally gave the law to Moses, and He said if you don't believe the law of Moses then you cannot know Me (John5:45-47) and If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead (Luke 6:31).
God never wanted anyone to stay in sin or falling, but through confession of sin, and by the power of the Holy Spirit, we can for long periods of time live as a Christian (an Anointed Royal Priest, fully awake, overcoming, ruling and reigning on His throne now). We are to run the race, and win the crown, not remain fallen in the dung hill. Through that washing of the water of the word, we will eventually become that church without spot or wrinkle (Ephesians 5:26-27).
Our God commands holiness (it is not an option):
Matthew 5:48 "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect."
1 Peter 1:16 "Be Holy, for I am Holy"
Hebrews 12:14 "Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:"
The definition of sin is transgression of the law (1John 3:4). This is the guiding standard between falling short, or running the race. If we "confess our sin, He will be faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us of all sin and unrighteousness" (1John 1:9).
Nowhere in scripture does it say we can just stay "falling" our whole life, rather than walking in the spirit. The scripture repeatedly says "the law is spiritual" and that we must crucify our flesh and walk in the spirit.
Romans 6:1 "What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?"
Even moreso, He wants us to be transformed into the same image of Christ, and that we take up our crosses following Him, and do greater works than He did. As we know, He kept the law perfectly as the spotless Lamb. He promoted the law much stronger than the Pharisees in dozens of places in the New Testament, and even said that if our righteousness (law keeping) does not exceed that of the Scribes and Pharisees then you shall in no case enter the Kingdom of God (Matthew 5:20).
We consistently read that "sin separates us from God" (Isaiah 59:1).
He doesn't say we should continue thinking like slaves, and stay in the bondage of sin, a slave to our flesh rather than living by His law which is all SPIRIT. He has given us the power of our Spirit from above, and also the helper, the Holy Spirit to have more supernatural strength and abilities, which is called "grace" in scripture, the true grace which is "charisma" in Greek, a great talent to Obey "Power from God to obey"(Romans 1:15). It is not an option to be Godly, it is a commandment to His elect.
He changes our thinking. Repent in Greek is "turn around your thinking". His ministry was "repent ye, for the Kingdom of heaven is at hand" (Matthew 4:17) We are to change our thinking, and we are more than able to do so."Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:" (Philippians 2:5)
"whatsoever is not of faith is sin." (Romans 14:23) "But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." (Hebrews 11:6) Remembering that faith comes by hearing, and (shama/obedience) as Jesus said was the greatest commandment to the word of God, we praise YAHWEH that it will produce the results:
1John 5:4 "For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith."
WE WHO SEEK FIRST HIS KINGDOM CAN NEVER BE LUKEWARM "Wherefore we receiving a Kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and Godly fear, for our God is a consuming fire." (Hebrews 12:28-29)
The spiritual truth of our God being a consuming fire is mentioned throughout the Bible. Several places in the Bible say "all flesh is grass" and our enemies are called chaff & stubble to be consumed by the fire of God who destroys them. (More references Deuteronomy 8:3, Deut. 4:24, Isa 5:24-25, Isa 40:6, all use this concept, among many more). I would think it would be better to operate more in the spirit where we're safe, rather than in flesh of this world, making the world our home. The word says only the Philadelphian church of brotherly love will escape the great tribulation which tries the earth dwellers. We are best making heaven our dwelling where the fire only refines us as gold.
We all are given two ways to be baptized with fire. One is to join ourselves to God now and let His fire of the spirit burn out of us all dross like it is taken from silver through true love in obeying His commandments, crucifying our flesh. Otherwise we can receive the ultimate price and pay with the tribulation that comes upon the whole world and when the entire earth is baptized with fire. We have to choose who's side we're on. There is God's side which is truth and love, and the world's side which is lies, darkness and hate. Remember the devil comes as an angel of light, and broad is the path to destruction and narrow is the path to life and few there by that find it. That would mean the common view found by 99% of propaganda found on TV would be the broad path to destruction. God's viewpoints are found in His word, and those are the ones that matter. Jesus said it would be worse than sodom and gommorah, not only the sin, but the fiery consequences.
"He maketh His ministers a flame of fire" (Hebrews 1:7) His servants who overcome now with true pure love cannot be burned in the coming fire which is to come upon the whole world. Anyone who believes in Christ will be like gold or silver refined by the fire, and if there are still parts of our lives where flesh still has dominance we'll suffer loss, just not complete loss, as our foundation is laid for ever, and that is Christ (I Cor 3:11-15).
Jesus spoke of this fire baptism in Luke 12:49-51. Paul told us to reckon our old flesh nature as dead already, as the legal position we have in Christ to walk in the power of the spiritual new man. Having been baptized as buried unto His death, that the resurrection fire power of the Spirit may work (Rom 6:1-2) Ezekiel Chapter 1 speaks of the fire that completely surrounds those which are full of life, as it has lightening bolts or higher electrical power they're saturated in. Revelation 5:9 says these same beings are redeemed by the blood of the Lamb; in other words it is our spirit nature revealed. They're called God's Glory in Ezekiel 8:4, 9:3, 10:4 & 43:2-4.
Being "consumed" with fire is like the Bible says His true people are when the Holy Spirit activates within us electrically energizing us actually into a higher lifestyle and power. As Jesus said we'd be baptized "into" fire, not only "into" water it is Biblically spoken of as being submerged and saturated in every area of your life into a higher force. As Paul spoke of all Israelites being baptized into Moses in I Cor. 10:2 "and we were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea; and did eat the same spiritual mean; and did all drink the same spiritual drink; for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them; and that Rock was Christ." So too our entire lives will be completely saturated, and more, uplifted by the electrical fire power of our God.
There will be two camps in the end 1. They that know God and obey His commandments. 2. They who do not, who of which Christ and His angels shall "in flaming fire taking vengeance on them who know not God, and obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ." (2 Thesselonians 1:8) (Note: I John 2:4 "He that saith I know Him and keepeth not His commandments is a liar and the truth is not in Him." No jots or tittles can pass from the law until all prophecies & laws are fulfilled Matt 5:17-19) Not until after 2 Thes 1:8 (and many others) have been fulfilled, will we be able to remove some of the punctuation points or words from the law; else there's no reason for Jesus to be our High Priest and our Lamb sacrifice, since only the law says we ISRAELITES need the Lamb. (We Modern Israelites of the Western Christian Nations are still following the most important part of God's law which says we need a Lamb to atone for our sins, His name is Jesus.) If that part is taken away, then every demon in hell is allowed to put those who have rejected Christ back under the old law and to kill us with all manner of plagues and evil.
"The law is spiritual, but we are flesh, sold under sin." (Romans 7:14). Only walking in the spirit, or walking in God's word - law - teachings of love and purity will we abide in Christ having liberty from the bondage of sin. His law is called "the word" and "the truth" which sets us free. The fire will emanate light to those around us and to our own minds within. His word, the light expressed through love, transforms us and those around.
Take up your cross and evangelize the cross! "..we must through much tribulation enter the kingdom."(Acts 14:22) David acknowledged all his trials and corrections from God were to teach Him God's law better and grow more spiritually. How much more does the power of the Holy Spirit give us that divine enablement and power to obey today! As Paul said it is when we decrease that He increases. The more we lose our lives for Him the more we'll find it, As Jesus had said, and that those who seek to find their lives will also lose it.
Be glad if you have the trials of being a Christian now, so you don't bear the greater trials the world must bear at Christ's coming. I Peter 4:12-13 "think it not strange concerning the fiery trial, but rejoice!" There is much encouragement and good from God's word if you do suffer for doing what is right in this age. We are to rejoice and cherish such persecution, we are to embrace it! In Matthew 5:10 Jesus said, "Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." When we're persecuted it means we are very close to breaking ground for God's kingdom rule to be operating in the earth. That our enemies fear God's law and they know we have all the power and must stop us. We have the answers because God's law is the answer to all world problems. The New World Order is only concerned in silencing the people who have Jesus and God's law, as it says in Revelation 12:17, but we know it says in the end we win and prevail over the entire beast system. God's covenants He made to protect His people of the 12 tribes of Western Christendom cannot, and never have been broken.( i.e. the Abrahamic Covenant that our pure seed would be multiplied ). Many books have covered the far reaching additional covenants concerning this pure seed of Isaac, not the false Jews called Edomites, or the Ishaelitish Arabs, but the pure sons of Isaac, Saxon Nations, that were to move North West to remain a multitude of mighty nations as separate tribal nations as Europe has today, such as covered in the book "Abrahamic Covenant", and in "Uncovering the Mysteries of Your Hidden Inheritance.")
